How to be an event storyteller with creative media

Innovative media and content production will connect with your audience. But how is best to do this? This month, I am sharing some ideas for impactful event storytelling.

Being creative at storytelling breathes life into any event. Digital media, for example, can be created to use across platforms – website, social media channels and events.

Impactful videos can be used for educational and promotional purposes and teaser films in the build up to an event. Filming interviews on location or at a new product launch, and the production of content, can be simply a clever graphics presentation or using animations, maybe incorporating film condensed into infographics. Options, options! What it must be is produced to a high standard with the ‘glitter’ and clever technology such as 2D, and 3D projection.

Tip: Ask me how to create multiple multimedia creations from one shoot or one project – to get more bang for your buck.

Why use it?
Live events provide excellent opportunities to capture content to extend the value and life cycle of your event.

Video testimonials as a montage or edits of the presenter’s highlights, combined with behind-the-scenes footage are so versatile.

Going professional
We love a time-lapse video. You see lots of these types of posts on social media on LinkedIn or Instagram, and with some professional flair, LZ knows how to turn time-lapse recordings or ‘to camera’ recordings into professionally captured content for any scenario. Whether it’s to promote an event or, create sneak-peak montages, captured and edited correctly and produced to share in the right resolution and file format for events and channels will create the hype and kudos required.

At LZ we challenge ourselves to look outside of the norm and are original. We know when to mix it up with videos, and logos, reworking existing content and assets or adding a soundtrack to nail the brief. Bringing in an edgy feel, empowering message, informal tone, or corporate and thought-provoking theme is what we pride ourselves on. We’ve done them all and continue to hone our skills with the latest thinking, skillset, and technology.

Having a flexible approach with the right expertise and an outside perspective can jump-start your journey of creative media, transform event space and promote content to keep your audience, engaged, coming back for more and sharing with their own networks.

As always, it’s lovely to share some ideas on how we challenge events and production. If it sparks any ideas or questions, comment, message, or even let me know if you’d like to pop down to our studio.
